The PERT distribution is a family of continuous distributions give the minimum (a), most likely (b) and maximum (c) values that a variable can take.  Click to see graphs.  PERT-distributions-by-mode.png
It is a transformation of the four-parameter Beta distribution. The modified-PERT introduces a fourth parameter, lamda, that controls how peaked the distribution is, or conversely how much probability is in the tails. See example graphs  PERT-distributions-by-peakedness-lamda.png
Analytica has the beta distribution built-in. We have added the modified PERT as a distribution function in the attached library.Â
