Analytica 4.0
Lumina officially launched Analytica 4.0 in November 2007. Our latest release has been met with great enthusiasm. For a full list of new features, see What's New in Analytica 4.0.
Release 4.0 is packed with dozens of compelling new features including greatly expanded graphing capabilities and auto backup, so you can't lose work. The new graphing tools let you easily create boardroom-quality graphs with new styles, such as stacked bars, filled areas, background colors, 3D effects, log scales, and horizontal bar graphs such as classical tornado diagrams.
Graph Style Templates let you apply and reuse a collection of graph settings for a consistent style for a model or your entire organization.
Case Study of the Month
IRRM: How to rehabilitate rivers with damaged ecosystems.
Most wild rivers have been tamed - enclosing them in channels and levees to reduce flood risk and improve navigation. But this also damages key ecosystems along river banks. Swiss aquatic scientists used Analytica to create the Integrative River Rehabilitation Model to evaluate ways to balance flood control and habitat restoration.

New Solution from Lumina
ADEPT: Analytica Datacenter Energy Planning Tool
With the increased capacity of servers and price of electricity, many data centers now spend as much for power, including for cooling, as they do on servers. New, more efficient servers and infrastructure are starting to become available. Companies are faced with complicated questions of how much capacity to invest in to meet the uncertain load, or what combination of products will minimize total cost of ownership (TCO). Analytica Datacenter Energy Planning Tool (ADEPT) helps you make confident and informed decisions about capacity sizing, deployment phasing, and selection of equipment for new and upgraded data centers.

Seeing a live demo is the easiest way to understand what Analytica is about. The webinars include a Q&A session with an Analytica expert. We offer a webinar every Wednesday at 10:00am PST. For more info and to sign up, please visit: Analytica Web Demo
Flexible licensing
We need your input. In our continuous effort to modify our solutions and licensing options to best suit the needs of our clients, we are considering offering a Flexible licensing scheme. Potentially this would be a server-based license that could be used on a concurrent basis, thus not needing to be licensed to a named individual. Would this benefit you? Do you or your organization have a preference in software licensing options? We would appreciate your feedback by email.
